Stay hungry and stay foolish
Zihan Quan is currently pursuing a Master's degree in the Department of Civil Engineering at McGill University. His involvement with the AIS Construction Lab began in Fall 2022, when he participated in both the CIVE 470 undergraduate research project and the SURE program, he developed a profound interest in improving the sustainability and ductility of ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC) beams. A recipient of the McGill Engineering Undergraduate Student Masters Awards (MEUSMA), he commenced his Master's research in Fall 2023, with a focus on investigating the maximum reinforcing ratio of UHPC beams. During his leisure time, Zihan loves cycling around city, hiking in nature, cooking Szechuanese food, and exploring new cultures through travel.
